Samsung today during its earnings call confirmed that they’re mass producing its Exynos 5250 chipset from Q2 2012. The SoC has a dual-core processor which clocks at 2GHz packing in two Cortex-A15 chips.
The chipset also supports WQXGA, 2560×1600 display resolution and offers four times better graphics as compred to Cortex A9 SoC.
Samsung’s executive also said that the initial target will be to integrate this dual-core processor into tablets and at a later date, go for smartphones.
