OnePlus has officially announced the launch of OnePlus X Champagne Edition in India. To date, only OnePlus X Onyx version was available for purchase in India.
“Starting midnight tonight, the OnePlus X Onyx will be joined by a brand-new Champagne edition,” the company announced on Tuesday
OnePlus X is priced at Rs. 16999. Just like its Onyx variant, OnePlus X Champagne edition will be exclusively available for purchase on Amazon.in. This particular OnePlus X variant is also available on invite basis only. “Existing invites for the OnePlus X can be used to redeem either the Onyx or the Champagne versions,” the company sources informed.

THE OnePlus X Champagne Edition is all similar to OnePLus X Onyx variant in terms of all the specifications. The device’s color is the only difference between the two variants.
The OnePlus X is equipped with a 5-inch FullHD AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 441 ppi pixel density. The X is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Adreno 330 GPU ably supported by 3GB RAM. The Smartphone comes with 16GB inbuilt internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
The X runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based OxygenOS. It supports 4G LTE connectivity. It sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. There’s also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. The OnePlus X is fuelled by a non-removable 2,525 mAh battery.
OnePlus also announced that potential buyers can unlock invites to purchase the OnePlus X using twitter’s ‘Flock to Unlock’ tool. Invites can be unlocked by visiting Amazon India’s official twitter handle — @amazonIN — and tweet or retweet the following message: “Tweet to us using #UnlockOnePlusX for a chance to get your hands on a OnePlus X invite. 5000 invites up for grabs!”
