M-TAXI, India’s first 2-wheeler Taxi service, has collaborated with Paytm to integrate its payment wallet in the M-TAXI app. This partnership between M-TAXI and Paytm is a strategic step towards making cashless payments on the go. Paytm’s integration will provide an established as well as reliable option of payment to the customers of M-TAXI. Until now, M-TAXI customers could pay only through cash for a ride and the Paytm wallet integration aims to remove this hurdle for commuters who are in a hurry.
M-TAXI aims to bring technology platform with its on-ground fleet, to provide last mile connectivity from busy commuter intersection to their destinations. The startup has designed a customized technical platform that aggregates demand and calculates fare for the ride.
M-TAXI recently launched an android app with a design overlaid in the shades of yellow and black for providing better services to its potential customers. The commuters can use the wallet on M-TAXI app from the next updated version. Increasing smartphone penetration and data usage is paving the way for rapid growth of on-demand services across verticals on the click of a button.With Paytm wallet, not only the travellers will get an additional option to select their payment mode, they will also get a break from the eternal struggle of carrying “change” for paying off the fare.
